I go by the name Chuck Durden.
This is the content of my about page when I started this blog:
I am a graduating student from a famous university. I am a campus journalist but I rarely own up to my “profession”, partly due to the fact that, for an aspiring writer, I don’t really write at all. Well, compared to my contemporaries, that is.
I’ve been in the university for six years and, yes, I’ve had my fair share of ghost stories, criminal activities, fraternity brawls, rooftop escapades, and even wizard battles. This is my third attempt at maintaining a blog. So, third time’s the charm, right?
I just love couches. Given the chance, I would love to sleep on your couch in the future, my friend. 🙂
Just to let you know, I have finally graduated from the university. In a span of two months after graduation, I have jumped from one job to the next, working as a visual and narrative documentor for an NGO and a reporter for a business daily. I am currently an editorial assistant for a known monthly magazine.
I am still sleeping in couches, though, since I can’t afford my own place yet. Actually, I can, but I am just too damn picky. Perhaps I’ve really developed an affinity for other people’s couches: very comfortable, accommodating , and rather non-judgmental.
